Living life is a creative act toward an unknown destination. We are armed only with concepts, thoughts, and our own curated vision to guide us. Not unlike setting sail into uncharted waters in search of a new world, courage stamps our ticket, and history records our life’s outcomes. Hopes of landing well ashore rest in our meditative capacity and our willingness to look inward. In the skilled life explorer, we observe discipline, faith, adaptability and a trust in the concept of ‘process’ itself, through letting go of preconceptions. Heroism is only expressed by others and on rare occasions over years and generations that follow our lives. Ultimately, it is process that the life artist values most. Understanding that there is something called process, is both a primal, and a first-world phenomenon. Primal, in the human survival instinct, and first-world in the luxury available to us to author our own life stories. Authentic life creation work is done within, requiring steady meditative access. Our everyday lives are adventures in creativity, leave no doubt. Roadmaps are not handed out at birth, nor progress reports given along the way. Honing our internal process, we come to hold the fountain-pen that authors our life stories. Proper breathing practices and achieved stillness opens all doors.
